Dream Systems is a custom electronics design, install and integration company in both residential and commercial fields. We have earned numerous certifications throughout the past decade serving the Central and Northern Wisconsin and Chicago metropolitan areas. We’ve had the opportunity to work with many homeowners and business owners to provide a variety of different systems. This all started with Seth Ferrin’s dream – spotting the potential for endless possibilities to integrate the technology we all enjoy into our daily lives to make them more enjoyable, easier, more exciting.

The fall of 2000, an idea, a laptop and a credit card was the beginning. Seth started purchasing used projectors and reselling or installing locally. This field was exactly what he had always hoped to immerse himself in. A love for technology and a passion for seeing entertainment come alive was the seed. All these years later we’ve grown into a successful corporation, now in a new location with multiple showrooms, boardrooms, a warehouse and finally…a break room!
Our company began with a small group of family and friends, Generation Y’ers who have seen technology evolve. Some demographers call it the Net.Generation who have been described as “voracious consumers of electronic media” and those who use “technology at higher rates than people from other generations.” Technology being our common passion, we strive to provide our clientele with the best that the market has to offer. This requires keeping up-to-date with a challenging industry, one that experiences a total metamorphosis every 2-4 years and smaller scale transformations every 6 months.
In spite of the constant crusade to persevere in this market, our determination is to continue working on each job until the client is totally satisfied with the results. Our hard working team thrives on the modifications forced on us by the market, responding by qualifying for any certifications required and going above and beyond our clients’ expectations. Our desire is to continue to flourish as a team and a company and to offer any future allies what we’ve always endeavored to supply and what Seth himself has experienced in creating Dream Systems – the fulfillment of their dreams.
In 2013 that dream was further realized with the purchase of Ogren Electronics. This exciting acquisition has brought more experience, certifications, and products to our customers than ever before. Meet our team!
Seth and his wife, Nicki have family living in Rhinelander and Minocqua and are natives to Central Wisconsin. Seth created Dream Systems from the ground up, very similar to the Ogren family business. He brings to you his passion and desire to be the best in the industry. Seth has 19 years of experience and provides direction over the designs DS creates. He holds many certifications including CPD (Electronic Designer), CPI (Electronic Installer), and THX & ISF Video Certifications. Seth works out of the corporate office in Weston, but you will often see him in the field, meeting with customers, ensuring all their home and business automation needs are met.
Nicki has over 18 years experience in the accounting field, and has been the co-owner of Dream Systems since it’s establishment. Her attention to detail, together with her vast knowledge of the industry, makes her an invaluable asset in leading the company’s growth and in helping you. Nicki leads the accounts payable and billing teams and is there to ensure your project invoicing is accurate and simple to understand.
Electronics Systems Installer
Mike comes to us with over seventeen years experience as a Lead Service Technician. He is Cedia EST II certified meaning he brings a high level of safety, professionalism and skill to every project. Mike has the experience to efficiently install your sophisticated systems whether they be retrofit, new construction, or trouble shooting and maintenance.
Justin is a Crestron Certified Programmer which is an industry standard due to the rigorous training, extensive experience, and stringent testing required to create complex programs that are simple to use. He is also a Crestron Certified Designer in 4k for the reliable DigitalMedia systems our customers require. He comes to us with a background as a volunteer firefighter in the state of Wisconsin, and an associates degree in Wisconsin Aviation and Aeronautics.
Luke works closely with clients to ensure the best customer experience possible. He utilized both his client manager and customer service experience together with industry specific CEDIA training and certifications to expertly handle any client needs. From on-site consultation to systems education and follow-up Luke is there to answer any client question.
Electronics Systems Specialist
Keith has over 11 years in instrumentation, communications and control. He has an Industrial Electrical Technician Certification that he puts to good use as he installs your electrical systems to the highest standards and efficiently trouble shoots and repairs electronics from the location of our Weston office.
Marketing Coordinator & AP Specialist
Laura brings 7 years of customer service and office administration experience to Dream Systems. She works closely with the accounts payable and marketing teams to keep you up to date on what new and exciting technology Dream Systems can make accessible to you.
Hanna is a member of our specially trained customer service team. She is enrolled in the field specific continuing education to complement her excellent customer service skills and training. This unique training combination not only assures a top tier customer service experience, but blends it with advanced training of the high end technology that our clients have to greatly expedite any assistance they require. In addition to customer service Hanna also assists with the daily maintenance and organization the warehouse requires to keep our technicians well stocked and efficient wherever they are needed.
